Mission Accomplished!

Our main purpose for going to Utah this time was to find a house. After three days of looking at houses we found it - the perfect house for us! We knew it as soon as we walked through the door. It has everything that we were looking for and more. Four bedrooms (one will be used as a playroom), a two car garage, a fenced yard with a playground, and a kitchen that is a slight improvement over the one we have now. The best part about it is that we are less than 10 minutes from the hospital where Ryan will be working. The neighborhood is so nice and quiet plus there is a preschool for Jack just across the street. We are within walking distance from the church and less than a mile from the elementary school. We really couldn't be happier. We are so excited to finally get a house! Let the packing begin.

I love the kitchen! Look at all that space.

The family room - Ryan knows what TV he wants now. And look we even have a fireplace.

I love, love , love the backyard!

Happy Birthday Jack!

I can't believe it, my little boy is 4! Jack had his birthday on Saturday, April 11th. He had been looking forward to his birthday for weeks. We had a fun party with his cousins at Kangaroo Zoo-11 kids 6 and under, crazy I know! They had so much fun running and jumping all over the place and we only had 1 bloody nose-not too bad. We then headed back to Mimi and Papa's for Jack's favorite hot dog and beans and cake and ice cream. This year for his cake Jack wanted a tractor cake-easier said than done but luckily I was able to construct a tractor without too much problem.

There are so many things that I love about my little guy. He is the sweetest, cutest little boy in the world. There definitely is something special about him. He has a tenderness about him that is hard to describe. He is his dad's little buddy, Macie's best friend and my little helper. He loves to help with dinner, dishes and he loves to help me vacuum. One of my favorite things about him is his smile. He can light up a room when he smiles and can turn a bad day into a good one with one little smile.

It is hard to imagine our lives without him. Thinking back on the day he was born brings back all sorts of emotions. He gave us quite the scare and we feel so blessed that he made it and that he is healthy. We love you Jack--Happy Birthday!
