Happy Birthday to ME!!! On January 17th Macie turned 2! It is really hard to believe that our little girl is no longer a baby but a cute, little terrible - two, toddler. She is so much fun and we really can't imagine our lives without her. She can light up the room with one little smile and her personality is fireworks.
It was so much fun watching her open presents. After every gift she would gasp and get so excited and then...on to the next one. She would plop herself back in her chair and go after the paper. She made sure that the presents wouldn't fall off her lap by holding her legs straight out in front of her and flexing her feet so they would stay put. She continues to surprise us and make us laugh.
We invited our families over for some cake and ice cream and Macie loved being the center of attention. Look at all those cute boys cousins just looking at her! We love being so close to our families and being able to have a house where we can all fit almost comfortably. OK so it was a little crammed but we made it work. 
So Macie is beginning to love princesses. I am a little shocked because I never thought that she would get into the dress-ups and stuff because she used to take balls and cars over anything else, but now it is all about the princesses. So she still likes balls (especially if they are pink).
I was planning on doing some really cute, homemade cake for the party but I ran out of time and Costco had a princess cake that would feed everyone at the party and so Costco won. I think it turned out just fine and Macie could have cared less....it was CAKE! 
She continues to surprise us and make us laugh!

Here is the party girl all tuckered out from all the partying. She got this cute little suitcase with blanket and pillow for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. We feel so blessed to have our sweet little princess in our home. Happy Birthday Macie!
