Happy Valentine's Day

Instead of shooting arrows, Cupid likes to sprinkle love dust in the form of snow over Toledo on Valentine's Day. Every year we've been here it has snowed - Yay??? Anyway, our Valentine's was a good one. We didn't do anything super special, but it was really nice to spend most of the day as a family. We got the usual flowers and chocolate - which is always welcome. And we had our own candlelight dinner at home. We started this tradition our first Valentine's after we got married, and it has been a lot of fun. This year, we decided to let the kids enjoy the dinner under candlelight. We ordered take-out from P.F. Changs - Yummy!!! Jack was much more interested in the candles than his food, but Macie seemed to enjoy both. We also continued another tradition that was passed down from Candace's Mom. We call it the cookie cake and I don't really know how to describe it except it's super awesome good! Thanks Mimi & Papa and Grammie & Grandpa - the kids loved their treats and gifts. I think everyone felt very loved, which is sort of the point of Valentine's.Jack was so excited to help make heart cookies
